Victoria Street, Christchurch
Right at the gateway to the city centre, this Halo site is spectacular in size and position – right across the road from the city’s 24/7 entertainment king: the Christchurch Casino.
The casino has transformed Victoria Street into Christchurch’s day-and-night hot spot, with a great array of entertainment, dining and shopping.

Lighting up Christchurch
This November we’re launching our huge new 10m high billboard at 65 Victoria St. To mark the occasion we’ve teamed up with Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū’s collection for a digital exhibition celebrating some New Zealand art and artists.
There will be 11 images on display throughout the day and night, including work by names such as Juliet Peter, Robin White, Gretchen Albrecht and Lisa Reihana. And each massive artwork will be accompanied by an uplifting message for the people of the city – something to bring a smile, and reflect the new spirit of optimism during the rebirth of our beautiful city.
Not only the artwork will have an uplifting message for the people of the city – but we are welcoming the people of the city to shout out their own message, by visiting www.brightenup.co.nz - Participants can view their message live on Victoria street, or online via the live video feed which can be shared on social media.
See below for some of the imagery that will be on display.
